How do I fire protect a Cellular Beam?
In the same way plain beams are fire protected, ie board, spray or intumescent.
For intumescents the new version of CELLBEAM Auto Mate provides the critical temperature so all paint manufacturers can calculate the optimum product and paint thickness.
SCI have produced this critical temperature calculation within CELLBEAM Auto Mate based on full scale fire tests carried out by Westok and Arcelor.
